This is where your house makes its first impression on the inside. You instantly get a sense of the style and theme of each home when you initially see the trim work or lack there of in some cases. Traditional homes tend to have the trim profiles and styles you would see in the trim aisle of your big box home improvement stores, where as a contemporary styled home would tend to have simple and smooth linear trim mouldings such as cove crown. You may prefer the Farm house or cottage feel which usually has rough sawn boards as trim, and typically showcases the character in the wood mouldings.
