Distressed shiplap is a labor of love. Countless hours goes into every wall project. Although we love to find and recycle vintage barn and cabin lumber, sometimes our clients aren't willing to spend that kind of money and who can blame them.....this stuff is expensive. So we came up with a solution that no one in the region was doing.......TEXTURED hand distressed lumber. Sure you can go on Pintrest and find ways to make things "appear" old with paint and stains, but the character in reclaimed wood comes from the years of abuse and weather the material sustains and the textures it inherits from that damage. So we studied the conditions that create this unique character in the wood and replicated it. This depth and dimension style of distressing gets us as close to the real thing as possible. Most people cant even tell the difference. It literally FEELS like reclaimed lumber. That added texture is what sets our craftsmanship apart. It is hand crafted
